The Unplug & Unfold Challenge is a 28-day journey to a life beyond screens.
On Wednesday, the 30th of October, the second wave will start!
It is not your average digital detox in which you waste as much time on your screen right after as before. No, it is designed to change your relationship with addictive technologies completely.
It consists of 3 in-person meet-ups over 28 days:
- TAKEOFF (Wednesday 30th of October, 19-22h)
- EXPLORE & CONNECT (Wednesday 13th of November, 19-22h)
- RE-INTEGRATE (Wednesday 27th of November, 19-22h)
The TAKEOFF event signals the start of the challenge. You get to know the other wave-members who dare to take this step. You decide for yourself how far you want to go with the unplugging. From that moment on, we help each other and keep each other accountable.
During the EXPLORE & CONNECT event, we share our experiences about the first 2 unplugged weeks and ask “How can we help each other?”. After one hour exclusive for wave-members, the event becomes open and free for everyone to join! We will explore together all the things screen-free things we can do with our freed-up time. Think of reading books, talking to strangers, playing board games, learning an instrument, knitting, drawing,…
The last event is the RE-INTEGRATE event. It’s called like that because it is not the end. It is a new beginning. The beginning of a story that unfolds primarily in real life. During this event, we look back at the 28 days and have a fresh perspective on what is important to us and make the changes we have to make.

Discounts
For joining the second wave there is still an early bird discount:
“Wave #2”: 40 euros instead of 50 euros (20%)
“Wave #3 and after”: 50 euros
There is also a bring a friend discount of 8 euros per person. So if you for example sign up with a friend for Wave #2 it means it’s just 32 euro’s for each one of you!
PS If you’re interested, but can’t afford it, you can ask someone (parents, boyfriend/girlfriend,…) to gift it to you. If that doesn’t work, let me know by contacting me. I might have a solution for you (see below).
